TypePvP Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using the TypePvP service ("Service"), operated by TypePvP, Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

• Account: Your unique user credentials for accessing the Service.
• Match: A head-to-head typing race between two Participants.
• Practice Match: Free play; no impact on Rank or Balance.
• Staked Match: Requires a $5 USD-equivalent buy-in (in SOL); winner gains +2 Rank Points and doubles their stake; loser loses −1 Rank Point.
• Rank Points: Points used to determine your Tier and leaderboard placement.
• Tier: One of the brackets from Wooden to Mythic based on total Rank Points.
• Tournament: A scheduled bracket competition with a fixed buy-in and prize pool.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

1. You must be at least 18 years old (or of legal age in your jurisdiction).
2. Only one Account per person. Duplicate Accounts may be suspended and forfeited.
3. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password secure.
4. Staked matches may not be available in all jurisdictions. Void where prohibited.

4. Responsible Gaming

If you feel your play is becoming problematic or addictive, please reach out for help. Staked matches are intended for responsible adults only.

5. Account Security

You are solely responsible for all activity under your Account. Notify support@typepvp.com immediately of any unauthorized access.

6. Deposits & Withdrawals

Instant & Automated: All deposits and withdrawals are processed automatically via the Solana blockchain. Transactions are final once confirmed; you are responsible for address accuracy.

7. Gameplay & Winning

Match Duration: Each Match lasts 30 seconds.
Word List: A hidden pool of English words is used—unknown to Participants until Match start.

Win Criteria:

• Highest count of correctly typed words at Match end wins.
• If tied, higher accuracy (correct ÷ total typed) wins.
• If both count and accuracy are identical, the Match is a draw and Stakes are returned.

8. Ranking & Leaderboard

Rank Points determine your Tier (Wooden → Mythic). Leaderboards display top players; your personal rank is shown when authenticated.

9. Anti-Cheat & Fair Play

• We employ automated systems to detect bots, scripts, macros, collusion, and other fraudulent behavior.
• Accounts found cheating may be permanently banned and forfeit eligibility for winnings.
• Alternatively, suspected cheater Accounts may be placed into a lose-streak pool, where all future Matches result in losses.

10. Tournaments

1. Registration & Buy-In: Announced in-app and at typepvp.com. Sign up in Lobby before the deadline. Fixed SOL buy-in.
2. Format & Rules: Single-elimination bracket; randomized pairings. Each round is a 30-second Staked Match.
3. Prize Distribution:
   • 1st place: 50% of prize pool
   • 2nd place: 30%
   • 3rd place: 20%
4. Tiebreakers: On an exact tie, a 15-second sudden-death rematch determines the winner.

11. Promotions, Bonuses & Affiliates

• Deposit bonuses: From time to time we may activate tiered deposit bonuses (e.g., $25-49, $50-99, $100+). Current percentages are shown in-app. Unless otherwise stated, the deposit amount plus any deposit bonus must be staked 1x before that rollover amount becomes withdrawable. Admin may adjust percentages, tiers, and campaign availability at any time.
• Affiliate boost: If you enter a valid affiliate code before depositing, your deposit may receive an additional percentage boost, shown in-app. Affiliate boosts apply to future deposits until you change/remove the code.
• Affiliate earnings: When a referred user deposits, the configured affiliate share is credited to the referrer and managed via a dedicated affiliate wallet. Affiliate withdrawals are made from the affiliate wallet balance.
• Abuse: Bonus and affiliate systems are subject to anti-abuse checks. We may void bonuses/earnings for fraudulent activity, multi-accounting, or misuse.
• Expiry: Some promotions may have time limits; see the in-app banner for details.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your Account at our sole discretion for any breach of these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, you may forfeit pending stakes, Rank Points, and balances where legally permissible.

13. Intellectual Property

All software, content, logos, designs, and trademarks (“TypePvP IP”) are owned by TypePvP, Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works without express written permission.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TYPEPVP, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR NETWORK DELAYS, BLOCKCHAIN CONFIRMATION TIMES, OR MARKET VOLATILITY.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYPEPVP, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF FUNDS, DATA, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

16. Market Volatility

You bear all risk related to fluctuations in the value of SOL or other cryptocurrencies. TypePvP, Inc. makes no guarantees regarding exchange rates or protection against losses.

17. Force Majeure

TypePvP, Inc. is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

18. Newsletter & Marketing

By registering for and using the Service, you may receive newsletters or marketing emails if you opt in. You may unsubscribe at any time.

19. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms at /terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via email.

20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Curaçao. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Curaçao.
